Cigar 101 Class with Panacea owner Paul Bush and National Sales Rep Nathan McIntyre:
Many of you have enjoyed Panacea Cigars over the last almost two years that Stogies has offered them. We are excited to announce that Panacea's owner and creator, Paul Bush, along with regional rep Nathan McIntyre will be joining us for a "Panacea 101" event on Friday, October 7th 6-9PM! Paul will be explaining how cigars are manufactured as well as answering YOUR cigar questions and giving insight on how Panacea gets from the Dominican Republic to you! He'll also help explain, and answer questions regarding the proper care for cigars and their preparation for smoking. This is a great chance for you to bring friends who are just curious, and a rare opportunity that an owner of one of the best boutique cigars in the market would come out and field all your questions! Also, we'll have specials available that night, as well as a free cigar for attending, making it a great chance to try one of their many blends! Folks, this is a real treat. Don't miss it!
THURSDAY OCTOBER 27TH 6PM - 9PM EMILIO/GRIMALKIN CIGAR NIGHT
Stogie's will be hosting Gary Griffith owner of Emilio Cigars Thursday, October 27th from 6-9pm. Accompanying Gary will be local rep. and Stogie's regular Nathan McIntyre. Both of these gentlemen will be here to answer any and all questions regarding this magnificent line of cigars.
Below is an introduction to the Emilio Family of smokes:
Emilio AF-1 cigars are produced in Esteli, Nicaragua and named in honor of our friend A.J. Fernandez, blender and manufacturer. Two years in the making, the cigars are loaded with flavor from the Nicaraguan tobaccos of the filler, and clothed with a slow fermented maduro wrapper, dark and rich with spice and sweetness.
Emilio AF-2 blend, also produced and blended by A.J. Fernandez is certain to delight. Crafted from rich Nicaraguan fillers combined with the strength of Pennsylvania ligero and a beautiful Ecuadoran Habano Oscuro wrapper.
Grimalkin cigar is a unique blend, produced in Esteli, Nicaragua from carefully selected tobaccos. This is a Medium bodied complex stick, that is designed for the refined palate with an appreciation of subtle nuance in texture and flavor of the smoke.
SEASONAL BEERS HAVE ARRIVED FOR FALL!
As Summer months begin to die down the new Fall and Winter Seasonal Beers have started to arrive. Our newest offering come from: Sam Adams, Sprecher, Starr Hill, Red Brick, Becks, Magic Hat, New Belgium and Abita just to name a few.
POKER TOURNAMENT
The 1st Tuesday of every month will be Stogie's Poker nights. The next poker night will be October 4th, 2011 beginning at 6:30pm . Cost will be $25 person with the opportunity to win some GREAT prizes. This event will be limited to 24 people and no refunds will be given. This event will fill up fast so we encourage you to sign up early by emailing, calling, or on your next visit. All participants will win a prize each night and receive 2 cigars and 2 featured beers. A raffle ticket will be given out with each beer as we will be raffling off prizes throughout the night. A different line of beers, cigars and prizes will be featured each poker tournament. First place in the tournament will receive a $100 gift card.
